| Central LockingA major convenience and safety feature is the central door locking and unlocking system, which may also include the luggage compartment lock and the fuel filler flap. If airbags are activated in the event of an accident, it automatically unlocks all doors. Additional safety settings are available as an option: automatic locking of the doors, automatic locking of the luggage compartment, security central locking. This means that all doors and the luggage compartment are automatically locked when the car is travelling at a speed of over 10 km/h, the luggage compartment is locked when a speed of 5 km/h is reached, and the security central locking system only releases the driver’s door when a door is opened for the first time after locking. Only when a door is opened for the second time are the remaining doors and the luggage compartment lid/tailgate released. |
