In addition to these powerful functions, the package contains extra visual highlights: the motorsports-style rear spoiler and the 19-inch “Estoril“ alloy wheels.

The blue brake calipers give the optional 19-inch alloy wheels a distinctive touch. Which wheels get your heart racing? The choice is yours: 19-inch ”Adelaide” alloy wheels, or 19-inch ”Estoril” alloy wheels (black with burnished finish or black).

The driving profile selection function enables the Golf R to adapt to your preferences and has the response to almost every style of driving. The “Special” driving profile was designed especially for the Nordschleife track at the Nürburgring. By making individual adjustments, for instance to the optional DCC adaptive chassis control function or special tuning of the lateral dynamics via the vehicle dynamics manager and R-Performance Torque Vectoring, the Golf R adapts perfectly to the challenges of the legendary track. The Golf R gets every driver’s pulse racing. On private roads, it can achieve spectacular drifting by regulating the ESC via the “Drift” driving profile and distributing the power via R-Performance Torque Vectoring.
